The latest reality show on Netflix, Selling Tampa, hit screens in December 2021 – and it’s the hottest Allure Realty programme on the block. Here’s everything you need to know about the Selling Tampa cast (and more)…

Selling Tampa vs. Selling Sunset

Many fans will be familiar with the Netflix hit show Selling Sunset, led by the Oppenheim Group and featuring some of the most glamourous luxury real estate properties in Hollywood. Now, Selling Tampa takes centre stage; a similar programme, with all the added drama. So what’s the difference?

Well, firstly, it’s an all-female, all-Black cast. Set in South Florida, the agents present and sell gorgeous houses on the Florida Coast. It’s empowering, it’s addictive, it’s glamour at its finest.

Selling Tampa season one opened the floor to reveal Sharelle Rosado leading her own brokerage: Allure Realty. Compared to Selling Sunset, the biggest difference is in the cast’s diversity, which shines a light on issues and conversations necessary to break the cycle.

Similarly, the women speak about their ability to juggle both their family and professional lives in high powered roles. Basically, it’s inspirational in every sense of the word.

All About Sharelle Rosado

The captain of the ship (and ex-military vet) Sharelle Rosado, is a no-nonsense businesswoman and realtor. She founded Allure Realty in 2019 based in Miami. The start-up brokerage boasts some of the most ostentatious mansions, which are in very high demand.

Now a CEO and real estate agent, her ambition is contagious. In an interview with Elle, Sharelle Rosado announced that she had big plans for her brokerage: “I feel like I had a vision of me getting into luxury [realty] and if I can do it, other women can do it. [Women] that looked like me or looked like my mom, looked like my daughter. So the thing about it is you have to lead by example.”

Aside from her professional life, Sharelle is also a mother and wife to NFL player, Chad Johnson. She was born in Georgia, and now lives between Tampa, Florida and Miami.

Alexis Williams

Alexis Williams spearheads the listings and sales of Tampa’s finest residential homes. She is highly experienced in negotiating and understanding the needs of her clients, which definitely fired up the competition with the ladies.

During the course of Selling Sunset season one, Alexis and Sharelle stepped on each other’s toes. In a dramatic turn of events, Sharelle Rosado unapologetically fired Alexis on the grounds that she wasn’t setting the right example.

Anne-Sophie Petit-Frere

Next up: Anne-Sophie. With over 127k followers on Instagram and receiving the “Top Agent” award several times, Anne-Sophie sets the precedent on Selling Tampa.

She previously worked as a property accountant, with a background in analytical accounting, marketing and branding. This is a woman of many talents, not the least is her real estate skills.

Karla Giorgio

Originally from Venezuela, Karla Giorgio moved to Orlando in Florida to improve her quality of life. From 16 years old, she worked with her dad at their family-owned car dealership, which is where she developed an interest and curiosity in sales. The rest is history.

Colony Reeves

Colony Reeves is on a mission to change the real estate industry. Born and raised in Tampa, she is an asset to the company and knows the destination inside out. Her aim is to help others build a life of wealth and homeownership in its simplest terms.

Colony Reeves is a firm favourite from Selling Tampa, and built a social following of over 142k during the first season.

Juawana Colbert-Williams

With a background in Economic Development, Juawana Colbert-Williams was also one of the top-performing agents at Allure Realty like her co-star Anne-Sophie.

Juawana was born in Los Angeles and grew up helping her grandfather at apartment inspections. It was here that she developed a huge passion for the business and the glamorous world of realtors.

Rena Upshaw-Frazier

Rena Frazier is not just a real estate agent but an attorney, too. She has a law degree from the prestigious Stetson University College of Law and a bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering.

Working at Allure Realty, she excels in building a community and was later promoted to broker associate.

Tennille Moore

Last, but certainly not least, Tennille Moore. Like Colony, she’s a Tampa Bay resident through and through. She had a role in the Florida Senate as a Chief Legislative Assistant for 16 years prior to joining Allure Realty, where she truly blossomed.

Aside from real estate, Tennille is also the CEO of Credit Pro which aims to educate and support people in financial credit. Busy, busy!

Will There be a Selling Tampa Season Two?

Selling Tampa reeled in 243 million viewing minutes globally. Suffice to say, it’s not just designer handbags, catfights and glamour that attracted their audience, it’s addressing the bigger issues and giving underrepresented people a platform. This is what makes the show stand out against other reality-realtor programmes.

Well, according to Shanelle, the cast and crew shot enough material to span two seasons. Netflix hasn’t announced anything official, so let’s keep our fingers crossed! Essentially, the whole cast is a powerhouse – and that’s a reason to tune in and watch them rule the screen.
